Opened Feb 2023, N.G.S is equal parts hair studio and bottle shop—then someone put a bar in the middle. You’re upstairs in Maruyamacho between Shibuya and Shinsen, with a concrete floor, dim neon, and a window ledge lined with cans. Seating is mostly counter, plus a small sofa zone; come solo and you won’t feel out of place. The beer program leans bottled and canned craft (Japan-forward, with some imports), so ask what just hit the fridge instead of hunting for taps. There’s a ¥500 charge and a heated-tobacco corner—don’t treat it like a café. Live sets happen; keep your order short.
