Since 2012, Lush Life has been Sakurashinmachi’s ‘reset’ room—third floor off Sazae-san Street, away from the beer-tour circuit. Draft rotates, with bottles and cans backing it up; they publish tap/bottle lists and nerdy write-ups on the site, so you can see what’s on before you climb the stairs. The room is built around a long counter and a handful of tables, with a projector for sports nights and Wi‑Fi for lingering. No table charge, English menu, and a strict non‑smoking floor (smoking spot by the entrance only). If you’re eating, it’s pub food plus a few Japanese curveballs like 五島うどん.
