Kuro Chinanago Gold is a German-style Schwarzbier brewed with malt and hops only, using a variety of roast levels to craft aromas of chocolate, coffee, cacao, and freshly baked biscuits. Despite its dark appearance, it drinks smoothly and cleanly as a lager, with a malty sweetness and a roasty bitter finish. Light at 5% ABV, it offers surprising depth and pairs excellently with grilled meats, smoked foods, and seasonal dishes.
