Opened October 19, 2021 as the bar annex of Eitai Shikkou, the urushi (Japanese lacquer) studio and gallery run by Tsuchiya Ryoko, who spent three years at the Kagawa Prefectural Urushi Arts Institute studying the three Kagawa heritage techniques: kinma, zonsei, and choshitsu. She and her husband built the room themselves, black-painted and wood, gallery on one side and a four-to-eight tap counter on the other. The taps rotate on her personal buying habit: she finds a beer she likes, takes the keg, hunts the next when it kicks. Recent pours have included Hop Kotan, West Coast Brewing, Repubrew, Kyoto Brewing, MAHOW Brew, Cloudwater and Drake's. Standing only, eight seats counter, walk-up order, BYO food (kids can bring drinks too). Eitai Shikkou also runs weekly kintsugi and foil-pressing classes. White noren, small wooden name plaque, residential alley west of Monzen-Nakacho. Closed Mondays.
